First of all, I think this is an incredible plugin!
I have an issue though, the Page Builder plugin is not dumping the code into the visual/text tabs in my posts. They simply appear blank. This means that the Yoast plugin shows a zero word count, which is annoying, but not a deal breaker. The bigger issue is that I believe the search uses this area to find specific terms in articles. Many searches on my site are coming up blank because of this.
The odd thing is that this is isolated only to posts. The content from the pages seems to appear in the visual/text tabs. I’ve tried disabling every plugin individually, and spend several hours in the last few days looking through Yoast and tickets with similar issues to troubleshoot.
The plugins installed are as follow:
– Advanced Custom Fields
– BJ Lazy Load
– Black Studio TinyMCE Widget (This is where nearly all the text on the site exists)
– Custom Favicon
– Page Builder by SiteOrigin
– SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle
– WordPress SEO
Any thoughts or direction on what might be causing this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for running Page Builder.
Is Settings > Page Builder: Copy Content to Post Content checked?
If it is please let me know if there is a change if you disable all plugins at once except for Page Builder.

I double checked the settings and the Copy Content to Post Content box is checked. I tried deactivating all of the plugins except Page Builder, but the visual/text boxes are still empty.
As I mentioned earlier this seems to be working fine on pages.
Please try testing the issue on default WordPress theme like Twenty Fourteen and see if there is any change.
I deactivated all plugins, and activated the Twenty Fourteen theme.
Content is still not being copied to the visual/text sections on posts.
What version of WordPress and Page Builder are you running?
I’m running WordPress 3.9.2 with PageBuilder version 1.5.

I’m having the same problem running Vantage Premium. None of my Pagebuilder content copies into the text or visuals boxes on Pages, Posts, Testimonials or any other type of page.
I love the look of my site but I’m trying to improve SEO using Yoast and it says every Post, Page, etc. is empty with no images, which is far from the truth.
I’ve got Copy Content to Post Content enabled and I’m running the latest versions of Vantage and Pagebuilder.
I’ve tried disabling and re-enabling Pagebuilder but no luck.
I’ve tried unchecking and re-checking Copy Content to Post Content with no change.
I’ve tried changing Page Template Attributes to no avail.
Any suggestions?

Same here. Content was being copied fine with Vantage, but now it is not since “upgrading” to Premium.

It seems to be a popular topic/issue in a number of threads so I guess this will help out a number of people when you get to the bottom of it.
FYI today I created 3 new pages – 2 of them worked fine and the 3rd didn’t import or copy the text.
Yeah, no worries at all. I might have also put across the wrong tone in that reply. All good. I see your post and also have another report running with this same problem. We’ll try get to the bottom of it ASAP.
I don’t know if this helps, but I’m hosting my site with Flywheel.
I was having this issue until I turned off the Privacy setting in Flywheel, which password protected the site. Then everything seemed to work. I did have to go and hit update on individual published pages before it would work.

Still trying to resolve this issue.
I now have it on 2 different sites and themes – I suspect it is therefore a Page builder issue.
However where would the Privacy setting be in Vantage Premium?
Sam was referring to the Privacy setting in his Flywheel (host) control panel. I’m not quite sure what this refers to. Perhaps DNS or Redirects. Hopefully Sam can let us know.
Another client of ours resolved this issue when moving to a new host so this would lend credibility to the idea that it’s a hosting related issue. We just don’t know what yet.
Just thinking along a timeline as when things started going wrong.
Both sites have had SSL certificates added. I don’t recall seeing the problem before this.
I will speak to GoDaddy about the issue tomorrow to see if they have any ideas.
Super, thanks, that’ll be great. If they need to know you could tell them that the action that is being blocked is the following:
Page Builder data is saved in the post meta array, with key, panels_data. On save that’s copied to post_content. That’s how content is copied over to Visual/Text.

I have spoken to GoDaddy – they have checked everything and it all looks OK.
What they also said when I asked if the SSL could be the issue is that it could not be turned on/off etc.
I was trying to work out if I had to deactivate it whilst updating the website and then re activate it?
I now strongly suspect given the timings that it is the SSL that is preventing PageBuilder doing its job.
Is this something you can test? Help with?
