I’m new to WordPress, but hopefully I can explain this will make sense..
I’ve had Page Builder on my site for a while now and it’s worked great. When I clicked on a page to edit, I would see the Page Builder elements, could add new rows, elements, etc. Or I could click Text/Visual and still edit the page like I typically would.
I don’t know what happened, but now when I click on a page to edit, I see the Text of my page (side note is it’s formatted in a small column instead a normal text box like normal (refer to Issue URL to see images [image 1]).
Then if I scroll down, there’s a place to see the Page Builder, but it’s not showing the elements I’ve already created on the page [image 2]. And for example if I click “Add Widget” [image 3], it just scrolls back up to the Text box and doesn’t seem to do anything [image 4].
Also, if I create a new page it looks like [image 5], but it used to just show the Page Builder integrated??
Note: I’m using Vantage theme.
Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated!
I’m having the same issue also. I’m even getting a “Your theme doesn’t provide any visual style fields.” It worked perfectly before.
Hi Eric
Please open a new support thread and I’ll help out there ASAP.

Hi momstechsolutions
Please run through a few steps here.
1. Ensure WordPress is on 4.0 and Page Builder 1.5.3. Go to Dashboard > Updates and run any available updates.
2. Temporarily de-activate all non-SiteOrigin plugins. If the issue is resolved then re-activate your plugins one by one while checkin the problem.
(Might have read your question wrong, just a quick reminder that it’s not possible to edit Page Builder content via the Visual / Text tabs).
Hi Andrew,
I’m having similar problems with Page Builder 1.5.3 and WP 4.0. When I try to edit a page, Page Builder flashes on for a two seconds and disappears. I have 38 plugins and I’m a little hesitant of your suggestion of temporarily de-activating all my non-SiteOrgin plugins.
Is there another way?
Hi Sean
Comprehensive Google Maps
CK Editor
Are known conflicts.
If you aren’t running those then there is unfortunately no other way to locate the conflict other than turning everything off and then running through them one at a time while checking the problem.
Please open a new thread for further help and I’ll jump in there: https://siteorigin.com/new-thread/.
Thanks
I found another conflict with Page Builder. It’s NGFB or Next Generation Facebook.
I have Page Builder 7.6.13.1 and NGFB 1.5.3.
I followed Andrews suggestion of updating and disabling non-Site Origin plugins and reactivated them one-by-one to find NGFB as the culprit.
Thanks,
Danny
