Hello,
I have two sites that seem to be having issues. They both use WooCommerce’s Storefront theme and your page builder. The settings are configured to use the page builder by default, but it keeps getting deactivated and reverts back to the classic editor. This happens on new page creation and any of the existing pages. Basically as soon as the update button is pushed the page builder gets deactivated. Also, sometimes when saving a white screen is displayed with a “Request entity too large message”. I updated the WordPress Memory Limit, the max_execution_time and max_input_vars for the sites, but that didn’t help. I tried deactivating all of the plugins and that didn’t seem to make a difference either. Any help would be appreciated.
Versions:
WordPress 4.9.5
Storefront 2.2.8
Page Builder 2.6.7
I saw a similar post about Rocket Loader in Cloudfare causing issues. I disabled that and now the page builder is properly loading, but I still am running into the “Request entity too large” issue when saving.
Page loads to white screen with the message below:
Request Entity Too Large
The requested resource
/wp-admin/post.php
does not allow request data with POST requests, or the amount of data provided in the request exceeds the capacity limit.
Media Temple made some server security updates and ModSecurity was causing the second issue. Everything seems to be functioning correctly now.
Hi Robk,
I’m glad to hear this issue is resolved now. I’m sorry I wasn’t able to be of assistance this time. Please be sure to post another thread if you have any other questions.
