“Page Builder” is not displayed

5 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 5 years ago

Hello everybody

Info in advance:
The page is from our animal protection association, which was created a few years ago by a private person. Then it was given to people who have no technical knowledge and only made changes to the content = no backups, updates, etc.

Problem:
A few days ago there were problems with the PageBuilder (it didn’t work anymore) I updated it (probably the first time since 2016) and nothing works since then. The information in the page builder is still displayed on the published pages, but the editor is empty & the tab has disappeared. Since no more content is displayed, I can no longer edit anything… I hope someone can help.

Regards
Natalie

    Hi Natalie

Thanks for reaching out. Does the issue resolve if you install a plugin called jQuery Migrate Helper from PluginsAdd New?

    Hello Andrew

    Unfortunately not.

    Hi Natalie

Thanks for giving that a try. Please, try checking for a working baseline. Temporarily switch to the Twenty Twenty theme and temporarily deactivate all plugins not authored by SiteOrigin. In that state, does the issue resolve?

    Hello Andrew

I changed the theme, but the problem persisted. I deactivated all plugins, but many pages disappeared.

Hi Natalie, with all non-SiteOrigin plugins deactivated, did the Page Builder tab issue resolve? We’re checking for a working baseline.

    Dear Andrew

I found the problem, it was caused by Plugin Yoast SEO.

    Thanks for your support.

    Thanks for the feedback.

We do a lot of work with Yoast. Are you using Yoast Premium or the regular version? If you’re using the regular version, does the issue persist if you active only Page Builder and Yoast?
