Hi there,
I have the plugin Popup Builder By Sygnoos on a site and now the content with Page Builder isn’t working (it’s like the css is stripped). I took some screenshot of with and without the popup plugin activated, because I don’t want to leave my client’s site all weird. Any ideas of why this would be happening?
Apparently, the images won’t post…
Hi Lnzins,
Can you please clarify how you’re adding the popup code? Is it via a widget (if so, what widget?), shortcode, or is it being added to the page automatically by the Popup Builder plugin?
Also, can you please try resending the screenshots?
Hi Alex,
I added the pop up to the homepage via the Popup Building plugin settings. The homepage is in a widget, using the layout builder page builder widget (so the info spans to edges of the screen while the internal pages keep the side margins)
The images still aren’t loading; let me try links…

Hi Lnzins,
That looks like a possible JavaScript error. Would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a temporarily enable this functionality so we can inspect the resulting issue?

Hi Lnzins,
Thanks. For whatever reason, the SiteOrigin Page Builder column Sizing CSS isn’t loading when Popup Builder is enabled. I see you’re using an older version of SiteORigin APge Builder. Does updating SiteOrign Page Builder help?
Hi Alex,
I updated the Page Builder plugin, but that did not change anything.
Any other ideas?
Hi Lnzins,
Sorry for the delay.
I’ve been running some tests to identify why this is happening and I’ve been struggling to replicate this issue on a different website. Would it be okay if I temporarily re-enable Popup Builder on your website and create a few test pages?
Hi Alex,
Thanks for your help. Yes, it's okay to activate the plugin to trouble-shoot. I'll notify my client, so she know why the site looks weird.
Also, the homepage is built using the layout builder widget in the EZ home top widget. So, I'm not sure if this is contributing to the issue. It's done this way so the homepage content spans to the edges of the page, while the internal page keep the theme-defined margins.
Hi Lnzins,
Thanks. I’ve run a few additional tests and it does look to be as a result of the manner you’re building the home page. I created a test page (it’s actually called that) directly through SiteOrigin Page Builder and it doesn’t face this issue. Does your theme require your home page to built through the EZ home top widget? I ask as if it doesn’t, I would try moving the home page layout to the home page directly to see if that helps.
You can export a layout builder by opening it and clicking the Layout button in the Page Builder toolbar. Then click import/export and then click download. Open the full home page in the editor and click the Layout button in the Page Builder toolbar. Click Import/Export and upload the previously exported layout.
Thanks Alex,
We have the homepage in the EZ Home Top widget because then the content extends to the edges of the page (instead of having the theme-defined margins). We've created a different popup that's not interfering with the page builder css.
Hi Lnzins,
Great to hear! :)
It should be noted that you can natively do that with SiteOrigin Page Builder. Please open the row you wish to extend to the sides of the page and head over to the row styles sidebar. Open the Layout settings group and set Row Layout to Full Width Stretched. If you would like to do this for all rows on the page, I would add them all to a Layout Builder – set the row housing the Layout Builder to Full Width Stretched.
