Thread Summary: This ended up being a server side issue. If something similarĀ (based on the initial post) is happening for you, I would recommend contacting your hosting provider to see if they have any record of any blocked connections recently from your IP.
(re-poast from wp forums)
Everything was working fine for home page, and was able to add another page with SiteOrigin editor and image widgets and it worked fine, but for the next page I tried to add it would not let me update the page (just loads and loads and loads). Tried another page and it let me save it once but then the SiteOrigin text editor would not load to let me continue editing (right side loaded right away, wysiwyg editor just spins forever.
I have tried everything from rolling back wp, using an older Page Builder, downgrading from multisite to single site, and upgrading hosting to a larger plan for more virtual headroom, and still nothing. I have deactivated the plug-ins to test that as well. Everything is up to date.
I am desperate now as I have spent a few days trying to remedy this. Please help!
(and)
After all of that not working, and trouble shooting with tech support from hosting, I decided to delete the site, wp installation and database, and start over. Everything was going good until I tried to create a page with a massive amount of text – a rather lengthy article. Suddenly the same thing happens – won’t update, just spins. It would seem as though Page Builder cannot handle that much text on one page.

Done. Will I be able to continue adding to the site while you are looking at it? I’m behind a couple days on this one now :)
Hi J. Anthony,
Yes.
A bit more info: I have another site built with Maskitto Light and I can post twice the amount of text and code (using SiteOrigin Editor) as the amount that screws up the other site, using same exact images and text. Tried everything in incognito, from my chromebook and from windows desktop in firefox. The only difference, besides hosting, is the working site is wp 4.4.3 and the broken one is 4.5.2. But I rolled it back and it was still acting up.
Hi J. Anthony,
Could you link me to one a page where this issue occurs? I’m unable to find one and I would rather interact with one that is already has the error.

Hi J. Anthony,
Okay so I ran a local test and a test on your site (I created a test page) and I’m unable to replicate this issue. Could you please edit the test page I set up with the text? In other words, can you try and break the editor (again)? :S
Went in, selected all, changed text size to 14, and now it is spinning again.
Hi J. Anthony,
Okay. Can you leave the page so I may inspect it?
The working site I mentioned does not have “TinyMCE Advanced” installed and I thought it did. Possibly not aompatible? I have been changing text size to 14 using the wysiwyg editor enabled by that plug in. But I disabled all plugins right in the beginning of this and it didn’t seem to make a difference.

Sorry to confuse. It just adds the features to the editor at the top, font size is changed via a drop down in the editor menu within SiteOrigin Editor widget in that row. Without that plugin, I only have about half of the options in the wysiwyg.
Hi J. Anthony,
Right – that’s fine. Could you take a screenshot of the font size? There’s, by default, no font size option so I’m not too sure what you’re seeing. :S

OK, switched to a macbook, created page “A Criticism Sample” and the same thing is happening. If I change the font on the whole thing, it will not save. If I leave the font alone, it saves. As soon as I view the page, when I go back to the editor it will not load widget styles come right up, but the left portion just keeps spinning. Also I am at a different location 2 hrs away with better internet and still the same problems as yesterday and the day before.
