    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Afri,

Okay so this is an issue I’ve only ever seen once and the cause of the issue that time was mod_security. I would recommend contacting your hosting provider to see if this is something they can look into as the last time this issue popped up the user simply disabled this module. For reference, here’s their exact reply:

Found the issue and fixed it! Turns out it was a security setting compiled into my hosting server called mod_security. It basically acts like a web application firewall to protect the server against web-based attacks and the like. I disabled that on the server and it works fine now. Something must have gotten set the last time I upgraded my server software I’m guessing. Sorry for the issues and thank you for the help in figuring it out.

    Hi Afri,

    Awesome.

To clarify for future readers: This should be affecting the bulk of plugins that have custom settings pages so if you wish to verify this as a mod_security issue try adjusting other plugin settings.
