Page Builder + Corp Theme: Footer columns not collapsing

7 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 7 years ago

Hello,

first of all: I love the great themes and page builder plugin. But for my current project, I am struggling with the mobile design of the wordpress page. I added the “Layout Builder” widget to the footer area. In the layout builder, I created a multiple columns row (tried 3 and 4 with even distribution).

Screenshots Layout-Builder:

In the full-resolution-site the columns are displayed correctly:

Unfortunately, the mobile layout does not seem to be responsive:

What can I do to make the columns collapse?

Thanks. I think the challenge is the empty column. What you might try instead is to abandon the Layout Builder and instead, insert three Text or SiteOrigin Editor widgets. Leave the first blank and insert your text into the other two. The footer will automatically assign a column to each and will handle it correct on mobile.

You are right! :) That setup works for multiple columns and is responsive.
