Page Builder causes “Slow Server Response” – Low Score on Google Pagespeed

we are running Vestige Version: 1.6 By imithemes

When checking just the homepage with Pagespeed and 1 image in the slider we are getting load times > 23 seconds

If we disable the pagebuilder we get < 2 seconds

Any thoughts?

    Hi Philip,

    That’s really odd! Just to clarify, this is not a widespread issue so I’m not too sure why this is happening. Hm.

    Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on? If you need to keep this URL private from other users, just select “Private Reply” on the bottom right of the comment box.

    Also, could you please try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? I just want to confirm that this isn’t a plugin conflict.

    We ended up disabling all the plugins and then just enabling the ones from the theme – seems to have fixed the issue was a conflict between pagebuilder and visual composer
