Hi.
I’ve installed the page builder in an ecommerce with woocommerce, now it takes about 35-40 seconds to place a product in the cart but if I deactive the plugin the time is reduced to 4-5 seconds. You can test the problem on this page http://www.brunocalzature.net/negozio/pokemaoke-antlia-coco-derby-donna/ page. How can I fix the problem?
Hi,
I suspect that we’re the straw that broke the camels back as 4 – 5 seconds load time is quite long (especially when using a cache plugin). To confirm this, can you please temporarily disable all other plugins besides WooCommerce and SiteOrigin page Builder? How is performance then? Also, what are you using to test performance?
When I disable all other plugins, the navigation is slightly better, that is, instead of loading a page in 4-5 seconds it takes a second less. The performances in navigation not improve more than that (but this should depend on our connection and our server). The problem related to pagebuilder remains instead, adding an article to cart always takes 35-45 seconds. I run this tests withous any special instrument, I would not know how to do it.
Hi,
Thanks for clarifying. So just to confirm, when SiteOrigin Page Builder are the only plugins active, it still takes 35 – 45 seconds for you? How long does it take if you temporarily disable WooCommerce and/or change theme?
I can’t seem to replicate anything as bad as 11 seconds when using Pingdom to test (reference). While obviously not good, it’s much lower than 35 – 45 seconds so I’m a tad confused as to why you’re getting such higher times.
