page builder by site origin – I can’t update my pages

Hello,

I hope my English is enough to explain my problem.
I can’t update my pages in wordpress. When I press the update-button nothing will change on my homepage. All browser – caches are empty and I deactivatet all plugins – then it worked but the pictures and everything on the site graphically was destroyed. I tested all plugins, and it was only by deactivating pagebuilder site by origin that I could update (including the crash on the site). So I have the choice between not updating the site or having a crash on the site. I use the pagebuilder by site origine Version 2.4.8
I also deaktivated all plugins that wasn’t site origin. Nothing changed. So it obviously has nothing to do with the other plugins.
What can I do now?

Thanks for your help – oh and I want to note that I am an absolute beginner…so I have to look up every single word that is internet-language and it cost me a lot time to find that this plugin has something to do with it.
I hope you can help.

Best, Katrin

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Katrin,

I was able to successfully create and edit this page: Private Snippet
I had to enable SiteOrigin Page Builder for posts as, for reasons unknown to me, it was disabled for pages. To enable it for other post types please navigate to WP AdminSettingsPage Builder and open the General tab and tick the post types you wish for SiteOrigin Page Builder to be enabled for and then save your settings.
This setting issue is what was causing the problem you were having. Can you please confirm if this is the case?

    Hi Alex,
I am not sure whether I understand what you did. Actually I can't not just yet see that the changes I had done before (and that I couldn't update) are on the homepage now.It is still like before. My problem now is that – for example on my startsite – I only can see a lot of SiteOrigin-Boxes. How do I come back to the "visual" front view? Can I just press "revert to editor"? Or would this destroy something? I only did work on the "visual" kind of boxes until today…So I can't see at the moment whether my text-changes that I wanted to implement are still in.

And then I do not really understand the meaning of what you write here. To enable it for other post types please navigate to WP AdminSettingsPage Builder and open the General tab and tick the post types you wish for SiteOrigin Page Builder to be enabled for and then save your settings. Where do I find the WP AdminSettingsPage Builder? I don't even know what is meant with post types. Maybe I understand what it means when I find the way to get there…? Sorry, I am a real real beginner…
    Best, Katrin
