Hi there, I’m having a problem with applying a background image to a single cell that has no content. I’ve got a row split into two cells. I’d like the first cell with a background image set to cover and the second cell has some text and a background colour.
When I apply a background image to the empty cell, nothing appears. Do I need to add a blank widget or something to the cell? When I add padding to the cell it can then differ in height to the second cell. Is there a way to make the height of both cells equal on desktop?
Thanks
Hi Seepops,
You’ll need to add an empty widget (such as an empty text widget) for the cell CSS to output.
You’ll also want to set the cells to stretch if you haven’t already. To do this, please open the row and head over to the row styles sidebar. Open the Layout settings group and set the Cell Vertical Alignment to Stretch.
Hi Alex, Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to successfully use Stretch. Never got both columns to appear at the same height and it seems to do different things across browsers. Is there a known issue with it?
Hi Seepops,
Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at your setup?
There are no known issues as far as I’m aware of.
