Hey there
Strange issue here: I copy a post with the Page Builder. The first row has a padding of 500px and a parallax background image. Now if I reset that image to another image and press the preview post button after saving the post the background image doesn’t update. So I still see the image of the copied post. Can anybody help?
Cheers and thanx for your help
Andris
Hi Andris,
This sounds like it could be a plugin conflict issue. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.
If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.
Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.
If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.
Hey @Alex S
Thanx for your reply.
I tried what you said but that didn’t work out.
I’m not using a SiteOrigin theme. It’s a theme I wrote on my own. The will be published by Monday either this issue is fixed or not.
Today I found out something: I copy a post and change the parallax background image, save the post and hit the preview button. Nothing changed, I can still see the old background image. Now I change just one letter in whichever SiteOrigin Editor Widget I want, hit save and the preview button and «Voilà» I can see the new image.
Does that make any sense to you?
Hi Andris,
Yes, although oddly, I can’t seem to replicate this issue locally. Would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a look?
