Origami & Yoast Seo not working

Hi,

I’m using Origami and Yoast SEO.

But somehow the Seo Title and Meta Description are not being added to the header.

WordPress 4.0
Yoast 1.6.1

Any ideas on what could be wrong? All help is very much appreciated!

    Hi feggel

    Thanks for running Origami.

    Please head to SEO > Titles & Metas and reverse whatever setting you have under Force rewrite titles. So if it’s checked, un-check it and if it’s un-checked then check it. Doing a few searches on this it seems to be an issue many users have experienced.

    They where unchecked, so I set them to checked.
    But I don’t think it’s working.

    I’ll also keep looking and let you know what I can come up with.

    To try narrow this down you could switch to a default WordPress theme like Twenty Fourteen and then re-check. Let me know how that goes.

    Now it seems to be working!

    I updated everything to the latest version (WordPress, Origami and Yoast).

    I first used a wordpress Post as the Homepage, but now I’m using the Homepage function under Appearance.

    So what have I learned from this? Always update to the latest version!! :-)
