I am desperately trying to figure out a way to change the background color on the footer and menus under each post in the Origami Premium from white or near white to a color more matching my theme. I have tried every adjustable color setting in the theme and none of them seems to make a dent in changing the footer and lower post menu background color, My site is a photo site and the white is jarring and distracting from the pictures. If you go to my site at cybershutterbug.com, you will see what I mean. Any ideas would be helpful.
PS I am not a CSS expert and clearly not knowledgeable in how to edit CSS. I just generally know what it does.
Hi Robert
Thanks for running Origami. Please insert the following under Appearance > Custom CSS and adjust as required:
Hope that helps.
Thanks ever so much. That solution totally fixed the problem. No wonder I could not find it. As a suggestion, you might consider building an adjustment of the colors for the Social Sharing Background and the Footer Widgets Background into the theme control structure in any future updates of Origami. Thanks again. I love your theme; it makes my photos look great! Terrific work and great support. I love your product.
Super; glad to hear that helped. Thanks for your feedback. All the best with the rest of your project.
