There is no Optin Form Widget in the Widgets Bundle. In my site I have deactivated a page building plugin called Authority Pro 3.0, which somehow offers similar functionality as the Page Builder plugin and widgets.
There is one optin widget in the Authority Pro plugin I would like to use with SiteOrigins Pagebuilder. What would I need to do? Can I copy the optinform.php from the Authority Pro widgets area and save it in the SiteOrigin’s widget area?
If yes, what would I need to do exactly?.
If no, and saying I’m not an expert developer, could I send you the optinform.php so you can adapt it to work as a SiteOrigin widget?
I’m sure it would be of great help for many SiteOrigin users.
Thank you
Hi Roberto
Thanks for your feedback. We’re adding new widgets to the Bundle all the time.
A widget needs to be part of a theme or a plugin. A developer would need to either integrate the widget with a Vantage child theme or build a plugin that powers the widget. Unfortunately, both are beyond what we’re able to offer as part our normal support. If you’d like to consider outside help, we highly recommend the developers at Codeable.
The easier option would be to locate a another plugin that provides a widget to do the same job. Usually you’d be looking for a plugin linked to the service you’re using. So for example Aweber and Mailchimp both have their own plugins that offer form widgets linked to their services.
Here is a plugin that connects to many services:
