Hi ive just installed PB using Generate press 1.3.34 which has worked fine for me on another website. However when i go to make a new page and add a widget the only widgets i can see are the PB bundle.

Im sure im just missing something really simple but i cant seem to figure it out!

Any ideas?

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Lauren,

To clarify, did you enable a third party plugin that interfaces with our widgets bundle? If so, it’s very likely the widgets aren’t enabled. Please navigate to WP AdminPluginsSiteOrgin Widgets and ensure your desired widgets are activated.

If they are, have you got all widgets selected in the Add New Widget sidebar?

If you do, you should try a plugin conflict test to rule out another plugin filtering them.

Try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue. You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue. Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.

    Hi Alex,

Thanks for your help, turns out it was a plugin conflict. All working fine now!

    Cheers

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Lauren,

Glad you were able to resolve the issue. Would it be possible to get the name of the conflicting plugin? This will allow us to look into why this may be happening and hopefully, in the future, not have it happen again.

hey sorry for the late reply, the plugin it was conflicting with was CPT archive author: Brenda Egeland
