One-click PDF on carousal widget

Part of my website has a resources page with access to pdf documents for easy downloads. Previously I have used the image widget and linked the image to the pdf file for one-click access. However, as there are several documents this layout has become messy.

I’ve been trying to switch over the pdfs to be displayed on the carousal widget, however I am having trouble establishing the “one click” link to the pdf files. Instead, the carousal wants to link the image to a specific page rather than immediately to the pdf file.. is there any way to avoid having a carousal image linked to a page but instead straight to the pdf file?

    Thanks for reaching out.

    Unfortunately, it isn’t possible to link the Carousel widget to anything other than the posts or pages the widget is displaying.

    I haven’t tried it yet but the Generic Carousel in Livemesh SiteOrigin Widgets might be the widget you’re after: https://wordpress.org/plugins/livemesh-siteorigin-widgets/.
