Og Image doesn’t resize correctly when shared on Facebook

Situation

I’m using vantage premium in boxed mode, which has the header images for blog post at width 720x346px . Just weird case, on full layout the width change to 770width. Is it normal?

Problem

However, when i share my blog post on Facebook the header image doesn’t get properly resized. Actually it is cutting part of it, while on Twitter is displayed correctly.

Any idea?

    Hi Andrea

The theme does adjust the featured image size depending on the layout in use.

I’m not sure it’s possible to resolve this from within the theme as it stands now. Have you perhaps taken a look at:

Thx for reply Misplon, i’ll take a look at OG plugin, as temporary solution. I wonder if Jetpack publicize or Photon can be the reason. I’ll keep you posted about this.

I’m not sure. It’s worth doing a quick test without those activated.

I’ve did all test mentioned did not changed anything… neither installing other OG plugins. So is not on Jetpack end, neither other OG plugins.

But apparently I solved it my last blog post. I’ve trough SEO plugin by yoast, I’ve set up the OG image on social settings on Post Editor menu. And my last blog is now displying the correct size of OG image on FB.

    I hope this feedback helps

Win! If you’re using WordPress SEO then the OG plugin isn’t necessary as Yoast handles these same functions.

    Thanks for the feedback.
