North, Topbar overlaps Masthead when using widgets

If I use the topbar with 2 rows and widgets it overlaps the content in the masthead.

I’ve tried adding some padding to #topbar but this doesn’t affect the #masthead because it uses an element with position:fixed.

How can I stop the overlap or can I add the the sticky function to include the topbar?

Thanks, Ben

…for some reason the ‘img’ button on the editor is not adding my images to my original post!

    Topbar overlaps masthead

I forgot to also point out that the topbar widgets are push the content after the masthead down as well, even if you add 0 Bottom Padding in the containers layout. It seems the only work around is to not use sticky menu. Which is a shame if you want social media icons in that topbar.

    This is weird!

So I’ve added some text to ‘Text Above’ and left the Top bar widget in place. Now I’m not getting any overlapping and I can still use the sticky menu. Cool! If I add the topbar id to the functions I should be able to make that stick as well.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Breathee,

I’m glad you were able to resolve this issue. I’m sorry I wasn’t able to be of assistance this time.
Unfortunately, as you’ve seen, there’s currently an issue with the top bar widget area in that it requires text to be added to the text above setting or it won’t work correctly. This will be resolved in the next update – sorry about this! :(
