Is the North Theme regularly being update to stay compatible with WooCommerce? There is a known issue that causes the product shop page to go haywire, not showing categories only when set like it used to.

North is being updated to stay current with WooCommerce. WooCommerce pushed 3.3 tag and then pulled it back.

The live version is currently 3.2.6. We’ll push the 3.3.0 update as soon as WooCommerce does. Personally, I was part of the batch that picked up the 3.3.0 update when they briefly made it their stable tag. If you’re using 3.3.0 you could consider downgrading by deleting WooCommerce from plugins (deactivate first) and then reinstall it from Plugins > Add New, search for WooCommerce. That’ll put you back on 3.2.6, the current version.

Thanks for your reply Andrew. I currently have WooCommerce Version 3.3.1. So if I downgrade as you’re suggested will it delete all my customer stats and prior settings that I have for the current version. If this issue will be fixed soon for the current version then I’d rather wait and not touch things. Do you know if this is the case?
Usually a downgrade should be no issue but given the changes made, I can’t say without testing and I haven’t tested.
We have almost everything ready for North, I’ll push that update tomorrow during the day, I’m at GMT+2. So, if you can wait, that’ll be great. Sorry for the hassle.

Hi, I didn’t want to leave you hanging before I shut off for the evening. Everything is complete except for the mini-cart and cart widget. Both aren’t showing contents. I need another one of our developers, Adi, to take a look in the morning.
If you want to manually upgrade now, I’ve loaded a release for you here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/019mqjahhn9tguf/siteorigin-north.1.4.3.zip?dl=0.
You can manually upgrade by switching to any other theme, deleting North, and then installing the ZIP from Themes > Add New > Upload Theme.
You could then consider disabling the mini-cart from Customize > Theme Settings for 12-24hrs.
If you run into any issues with this manual upgrade, delete the theme and install the current older version from Appearance > Themes > Add New, use the search top right to search for North.
Everything else looks good to go, just the cart widget and mini-cart in the header that aren’t ready. Sorry about this. We’ll resolve ASAP.
