North Theme – Home Page Slider and Top Bar

By Brad DeMage, 7 years ago. Last reply by Alex S, 7 years ago.

Great Themes!

I have 2 questions about the North theme.

1. How do I make the home page slider look like the demo for North? Mine is not stretching to the end of the page like the demo. I have resized it and that has not changed anything.

2. How do I get the top bar with a menu like the demo for North?

Currently I am using meta slider but unlike the vantage theme, I can’t find a place to assign a slider to the home page. I have a pPlease help. Thanks!

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Brad,

    1. Have you set the row to full width Stretched? If you haven’t, please open up the page and click the wrench icon above the row that houses the slider. Head over to the row styles sidebar and open the Layout settings group. Set the row layout to full width stretched.

    2. This is called the text above. You can enable it by navigating to WP AdminAppearanceCustomize, Theme SettingsHeader. Then, simply add text to the Text Above field. This field supports HTML.

    3. There is no place specifically set for the meta slider like Vantage. You’ll need to manually add your sliders to your page.
