No video cover image option

Hi. I am using a video widget on a web page but cannot get a cover image working. Under Design in Widget Styles I have selected a background image and set display to Cover. Nothing. Nada. Is this incorrect? Thank you for your help.

    Hi Marc,

    The Background Image (which is set in the Widget Styles) is different to a Video Cover. Unfortunately, there’s no direct way (as far as I’m aware of) to set a video cover for the Video Widget. I would consider changing to the SiteOrigin Video Player widget which does give you the option to set a Video Cover.

    Can’t see this widget? Please ensure you’ve installed the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle and then navigate to WP AdminPluginsSiteOrigin Widgets and activate it.
