When I click on the button “predefined layouts” I don’t get a response; the waiting icon stay.
Hi Steinpilz0104,
That’s odd. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.
If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.
Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.
If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.
Hi Alex
I got it meanwhile, I had a plugin which was blocking the thing. Now it works.
Thanks for your help.
Regards
Daniel
Hi Daniel,
If possible, could you please tell me the name of the plugin so we can look into trying to prevent such plugins from blocking the layouts directory in the future?
It was eitherr “etbase Widgets For SiteOrigin” or “Awesome Widgets for SiteOrigin Page Builder”
I disactivated both and the page builder worked.
Hi Steinpilz0104,
Unfortunately, I can’t seem to replicate the layout directory with either plugin. Sadly this is one of those situations where the most I can do is make note of it. Sorry mate. :(
Tanks Alex, my page works without those plugins, so no problems ;)
