No page builder tab when creating a page.

When I create a new page there is no page layout tab. I has a text and a visual but not a page builder. When you scroll down to the very bottom you find the page builder section but then I try to add a row and a widget and the buttons just highlight but don’t do anything. It works on all my other websites so I am confused why it’s not working on this one.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Elsafairy,

Do you happen to use a Theme Trust or a ThinkUpTheme? Both use forks (a version based on our code but not actively developed by us) of SiteOrigin Page Builder that have reported faults with the latest version of WordPress. We recommend directly contacting those theme developers if you’re using any of their themes that come bundled with a page builder.

Please ensure you’re using the latest version of SiteOrigin Page Builder installed. If you are, let’s try a plugin conflict test.

Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.

So I did the instructions you gave me and the page builder tab is now working. However I don’t know what to do to reactivate all the plugins?

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Elsafairy,

Activate each plugin one by one until the tab disappears. You can do this by simply clicking the activate link underneath the plugin name.
