I get a blank white screen when trying to live edit..on another I get this internal server error. the host is checking it out, but it seems not to b host specific.I did the permalinks save deal..changed the php to different versions..Only have the plugins that came with the theme installed

Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

    Hi Rock304

It’s possible that jvz themes are running a fork of our Page Builder. This means you might have to wait for a reply from them, but be sure to ask if they’re running a pure or a modified version of SiteOrigin Page Builder.

Either that or you could create a clean install of WordPress on one of the hosts, then install our version of Page Builder and test it with a default WordPress theme.

Don’t think so..I had it working on another host for about 10 seconds. Took forever [minutes] to open the live editor but finally did after I clicked stop script error thingy

    /wp-includes/js/jquery/jquery.js?ver=1.12.4:3

I don’t know if that is the problem

also–is there any known issue with live edit and wp in a subdirectory

you can have access to anything you want..just ask..I don’t want to be presumptuous..

It works fine without the theme..bizz devs told me to ask the host and visa versa..no bizz for me..just the bill..

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Rock304,

Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

If the above doesn’t help, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.
