Hi,

PLEASE HELP! I am using the North theme and NONE of my images are showing on mobile. I have tried everything from deactivating plugins to cropping to regenerating thumbnails and still nothing. This is a store site and I need these images showing. Thank you so much!

    Hi Pickle,

Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on? If you need to keep this URL private from other users, just select “Private Reply” on the bottom right of the comment box.

Hi Alex. Thank you for replying. It is https://picklestew.com/. Images are fine on PC. Nothing on mobile.

My checkout button is not working either. I’m using WooCommerce 4.5.2.

    Hi Pickle,

For whatever reason your responsive images (you don’t have to read that article, I’m purely referencing it) don’t seem to be valid and thus the browsers are ignoring them. With that said, the browsers will typically default to the base image. I’m unable to replicate the lack of images. Could you tell me more about your setup? (as in, what device firmware and browser are you using?)

Just to confirm, did you run a full plugin conflict test? If not,

Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins (leave WooCommerce active) and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

If the above didn’t resolve your issue, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related (it shouldn’t be though as you’re the only one I know of who’s experiencing this issue :().

I'm using Google Chrome on my desktop. Is that your question? How do I run a full plugin conflict test?

    Hi PickleStew,

I was asking about your mobile device.

I listed the instructions on how to do a plugin conflict in my above reply.

I deactivated all plugins and cleared cache on PC and iphone 6. Images are still not showing. They are not showing on iPad either.

It is not the theme either. I changed it and they images still are not showing on my mobile device or anyone else I checked with. Some iPhones, some Samsung.

    Hi PickleStew,

Okay thanks. So it looks like Safari (which I presume you’re using) just ignores any errors and tries to display the image regardless. Hm. Would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a look?

    Hi PickleStew,

I managed to resolve the image issue. For whatever reason, there was a line break in your site URL (which can be seen at WP AdminSettingsGeneral). This, of course, is invalid in srcset so it was erroring as a result of that. If you’re still seeing issues, please clear your browser cache.

Looking into the checkout issue now. Just to confirm, did you run a plugin conflict test against that button?

  15. PickleStew 9 years, 8 months ago

No, I did not run a test with the checkout button. I had you here and wanted to keep you here so I reported it ASAP. ?

    Hi PickleStew,

Awkwardly, the checkout button issue seems to be an issue with the latest version of WooCommerce. I’ve logged this in our issue tracker. It’ll get fixed asap.

YOU ARE AWESOME! No, I did not run a plugin test for the checkout button.

    Hi PickleStew,

Heads up: We just released an update for North that will fix the issue with the checkout button not working on the cart page. (version 1.2.3)
