No color picker in Design section of PageBuilder (on absolutely vanilla site!)

9 years ago · Last reply by palijn 9 years ago

Hello,
I created a vanilla new installation of WordPress 4.7 (english), on which I installed the PageBuilder plugin.
There is no color picker showing up in the Design section of anything, just a plain white box where I am supposed to manually enter hex color value.

Steps to reproduce :
1- install vanilla WP4.7 on empty DB
2- install PageBuilder plugin
3- create new Page
4- Add new Row
5- Click on wrench icon, select “Edit Row”
6- Click on Design section
7- Wonder where the color picker disappeared below the “Background Color” tag ?

Browsers used : Safari / Chrome on Mac (all latest versions)

Any assistance would be quite a relief!

Thanks & regards

    Hi Palijn,

That’s really odd! Would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a look?

    Hi Palijn,

Thanks. I’ve managed to figure out the cause of this issue and it should be resolved in the next update. In the meantime, you can get around this issue by installing the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle.

Great! Installing the widgets bundle does fix the issue :-)
    Thanks a lot
