Hi Guys,

Ive already posted on wordpress, but you say your faster on here.

My next page tag wont split the post into separate pages instead it will just show the next page icon and numbers at the bottom of the page but still not splitting the page into pages. there is also a large amount of page builders being used on this page, hence why I think the only thing I can think of is plugin conflict, ive looked for all other answers and there is no reason it shouldn’t work.

please help!!

thanks

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi TheLifeAdmin

To clarify, did you try running a plugin conflict test? If not, can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

If the above doesn’t help, and if you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.

If the above doesn’t help, do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on? If you need to keep this URL private from other users, just select “Private Reply” on the bottom right of the comment box.

    HI Alex,

    Sorry for the delayed response.

I’ve done all the necessary tests and none have provided any results so maybe its not a conflict with a plugin or maybe it is, I can’t quite work it out, I was convinced it was the siteorigin plugin but when doing the tests this did not provide any feedback so im again a little confused at the moment. It makes it even more of a problem when I know wordpress very well and yet even I cant work it out.

I’m going to let it go for the moment and push for my developer to see if he can sort it but if I find myself convinced it might have something to do with you guys based on further evidence il let you know.

    Thank you for your time.

    George
