New Version of Vantage Premium

I have just upgraded to version 2.2.1 and now the Header Padding value is not responsive. The value I have set is 5, yet the padding looks like it has reset to default. No matter what value I use, the header padding does not change.

    I had the same problem, fortunately I had a backup of version 2.2, so just re-uploaded and fixed the problem.

    This probably doesn’t help you unless you have a back-up, it’s just to say that you are not the only one.

    Yeah, I just ended up replacing the vantage theme folder from my Duplicator zip archive. All looks well for now…

    I have formatting issues as well. When looking at the new CSS file, it seems that the hgroup tag has been changed to .hgroup instead. After removing the ” . “, my formating goes back to normal.

    Hi Mike

    Thanks for bringing this forward. We removed the hgroup tag from Vantage as it’s been depreciated. We unfortunately forgot to convert the hgroup selector in the Customizer to a class. You can hotfix by adding the following to Appearance > Custom CSS:

    header#masthead .hgroup { padding-top: 5px; padding-bottom: 5px }

    Adjust 5px and 5px to your preferred padding. We’ll have this resolved in the next version and push that live soon.

    Thanks for reporting Craig, Thomas and Kamil.

    Apologies for the hassle.

    Thanks for the quick reply! I have restored the theme from a backup archive so I will just await the next version.

    I appreciate it! :)

    For sure. Definitely no problem going that route. Thanks for your understanding here.
