New uploaded media not showing

6 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 6 years ago

Hi, any new media I have uploaded does not show in the widgets (have tried in the slider and the carousel) Old images that have been uploaded before work. The new images show up in the preview, just not on the live site when updated. Cache has been cleared and plugins are updated

    Hi Hansel

    Thanks for reaching out.

Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on?

Hi Andrew, thanks for your reply.

As you can see, there is 5 slides. The first 4 slides work fine, but as soon as the last slide comes on, the widget disappears. It has only happened this week and only happens with new images uploaded. I can put a slide of an existing image and it works fine. The preview also works properly, just when its live.

Thanks for the update. There is a 429 error showing in the browser console, more on that here https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-fix-the-wordpress-429-too-many-requests-error/.

Try temporarily deactivating all plugins not authored by SiteOrigin. In that state, does the issue resolve?
