New Update deleted buttons

Open 11 replies premiumthemetheme-vantage

Hi, since the new update some of the buttons on my website have dissappeared and have been replaced with just the hyperlink text. I have tried just readding the buttons but they still do not appear.

Why has this happened and how do I go them back?

Has this happened to anyone else?

An example is on the page below – where it says ‘read more…’ there is meant to be a green button.

    Hi Sandra

Would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a look? You can create the account with the following email address:

    [email protected]

Just navigate to Users > Add New in your WordPress admin. Enter siteorigin for the username and [email protected] for the email address. Make sure you’ve selected Administrator for the role and enabled the “Send Password” field so we receive the details.

Once we’re finished taking a look, you can delete this account. We’ll let you know when to do that.

    Hey Sandra

There unfortunately seems to be a style conflict between WordPress SEO and our older Button (PB) widgets. We do have the problem logged; it unfortunately hasn’t been attended to yet. I realise it’s time consuming but one option would be to replace the Button (PB) widgets with the newer SiteOrigin Button widget, part of our Widgets Bundle plugin:

So would it just be a waiting game to see when the conflict will be resolved? As some of the buttons are working and some are not.

Hi :) I have logged the conflict so it’s sitting in the queue, waiting to be attended to. I wish I could say when it would be. Would you like me to login quick and setup a single new button for you, just so you can check it out?

No it is fine I would prefer to wait. I do have one more inquiry however. The contact form that I did have on my website is not working and I was wondering what the issue is.
I apologies if this is too many inquiries.
    Kind Regards

Good news :) We’ve located the issue. Please navigate to Dashboard > Updates, update Page Builder and the problem should be resolved.

I don’t see a contact form on your contact page now, did you remove it? Or is the form not rendering the problem. If you can perhaps send through a little more info on the problem we’ll try assist.

    Thanks.

The button issue has been resolved?
Yes I have removed the contact form as it wasn't working. The contact form says that the message has been sent but I get none in my email inbox. I was wondering what could be the cause of this.

    Yup, all sorted: http://www.littleblessingschildcare.co.uk/blogs-useful-articles/.

There are a few reasons you might not have been receiving messages from your form. It’s possible emails were getting caught in your email spam filter, that’s a big one.

    OK that's great thank you.
The emails are not being forwarded at all not even to my spam folder.

It depends on the plugin being used. I’d start by checking that all the details are correct. Check your email address is correctly entered into the form’s settings. Check that the form is submitting on send. Perhaps check with all other plugins temporarily de-activated. After that, it would be best to follow-up with the plugin authors and see if they can perhaps diagnose the problem.

Free contact forms plugins you might try:

    Contact Form 7
    Ninja Forms

    Premium:

    Gravity Forms

    Hope you’re able to resolve.
