Nesting Accordion within Accordion

It would appear that there is a bug with the SiteOrigin Accordion widget, in that nesting goes a little coo-coo.

Scenario:
Accordion Widget used on PageBuilder page with 3 items.
Item 1: Set to Layout Builder with a single row and an Accordion Widget with 4 items (each containing text)
Item 2: Set to Layout Builder with a single row and an Accordion Widget with 3 items (each containing text)
Item 3: Set to Layout Builder with a single row and an Accordion Widget with 2 items (each containing text)

In each Item, the nested accordion is set such that all of the sub-items are closed by default.
Page is set such that Item 1 is the default open, with its nested accordion as ALL closed.

Item 1 behaves as expected, allowing you open and close sub-items and happily move around.
Item 2 opens, however clicking on a sub-item will CLOSE the main item. Hence, you can not access the sub-items at all.
Item 3 opens, but for some reason the second sub-item insists on being open at the same time. You can’t access the first sub-item.

It’s really weird.

As a working solution for the page, just so I could get it up, I have employed a “”Tabs”” widget instead of the parent accordion widget. As such, the page now has nested accordion widgets on a Tabs widget. This works fine (and as expected), and the client is happy, but I’m curious as to why nested accordion widgets on an accordion widget would behave in such an odd manner.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Ann,

Do you happen to have a copy of the outlined layout? I ask because, unfortunately, I’m having a hard time replicating this issue. If you do, would it be possible for you to send me an export for this widget? To do this please open up the page in the editor and click the Layout button in the Page Builder toolbar. Then click import/export and then click download. Please upload the export to a 3rd party file hosting site such as teknik.io. Sorry about this!
