Need update fix

After updating SiteOrigin the site of a client is again not working. (www.zezaro.com) Some sites can’t be shown correctly. It’s like the pagebuilder isn’t controlling anymore. Even backups didn’t work.

    Thank you for the fast respond.

    On https://www.zezaro.com/services/ for example it is just showing pure HTML without all settings from the SiteOrigin Page Builder. We had that issue with the update to 2.10.8 also and then it suddenly worked again.
    It’s weird because it is only making mistakes on some sites and not all of them.

    Thanks for your reply. Ensure that you’ve updated to the latest version 2.10.10. If Page Builder isn’t displaying as expected in your WordPress admin, try running a plugin conflict test as detailed below.

    This sounds like it could be a plugin conflict issue. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

    If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

    Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

    If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.

    thank you for all the hints! We tried to deactivate all plugins without an positive result. Than we switched to an original based WordPress-Theme and had the same issues as before. (We run a Thementrust-Template)

    Hey,

    yes, we use 2.10.10. We cleared the cache and also tried it with deactivating all plugins one by one. Also checked the errors. Yes, we found some. But the same errors exist on the working sites. (It’s from the self written accordion) Also contacted ThemeTrust (our running theme had also an update) but without a positive result. If you have an another idea we would be very thankful.

    Thanks for the update. Please, can you clear all caching/minification plugins and then deactivate those plugins. Once that’s done, send a link to one of the pages showing an issue. Deactivating caching will allow us to view the page source and assets.

    Let’s try work through these JS errors in the console.

    Create a new test page and from Page BuilderLayoutsClone: Pages, clone the callcenter-software page.

    1. Uncaught TypeError: $(...).accordion is not a function
    Remove the Text widget containing this script. I can see two instances, below VON ZEZARO BIZ
    Selber programmieren oder and Schnittstellen nutzen. Remove all instances of this script in the page. Ensure you have the developer console open, try work this problem until this first console error is gone. You’re not trying to solve the problem yet, just trying to find a working baseline. Anything that’s breaking, strip it for now.

    2. Uncaught ReferenceError: scrollOffest is not defined at singlePageNavScroll (theme_trust.js?ver=2.0:369)
    This next error is originating from the theme’s JS file. Work the first issue, if this second issue persists once the first issue is cleared then try temporarily switching to Twenty Nineteen theme. Check the console again while viewing our test page on the front-end. If the console is free of errors then check Page Builder, is it working?
