I am using the theme Origami and I have not enabled comments anywhere, that I know of. However, on one page only there is a comment box at the bottom of the page (http://www.coppereflections.com/about/). Comments are turned off in the Page Options for the page, and nothing I do makes it go away. Is there CSS I can use to turn the comment off? Help!

Hi Linda,
To clarify, have you checked the linked page Discussion setting is set to off? I ask as the comments form can only appear if that setting is enabled.
I have everything under SETTINGS/DISCUSSION unchecked. I don’t see anything to turn off anywhere else, and this is the only page with the comment box. The editor for that page does not show anything remotely connected to commenting. I am at a loss, although when I find out why it will probably be obvious.
Hi Linda,
Please open the page with the comment box and open the Screen Options at the top. Tick the Discussion Box checkbox.
Scroll down and find the Discussion box and Untick Allow Comments.
If that doesn’t help, I would install Disable Comments and set it up by navigating to WP AdminSettingsDisable Comments.
Thank-you. Your last advise did the trick! Much appreciated.
