    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Mitch,

I’ve had a look at your website and your website appears to be working without issue. Did you manage to resolve the issues you’re website was facing? If not. can you please elaborate on what’s wrong? Also, what happens when you try and log in?

    Hi Alex.
Thanks for the reply. Before we start can I ask why it took so long?
I have the premium version. Unless something has changed??

    Anyway.
On the day I posted I had a customer call me and inform me that my site wasn’t working properly.
The red “Contact Us” button would go to a page full of text and errors.
The top of the home page had a thick black border or whatever and you could just see the errors written in it.
Site wouldn’t work properly on Iphone or PC.
PC I use explorer. Windows 7.
I tried logging in to the back end and no way. It was going haywire.

Called my host “crazy Domains” and we got into the back end of the host manager of my account and re named the plugins file.
It got me in but not one plug in was there.
    I couldn’t add any either.

So I went back into the host manager, re named the plug in file to the original and somehow I was able to log into wordpress.
Everything was there now and I restored my site to a few backs and then everything worked perfectly.

I think the plugin updates I did a week or two ago caused the damage? Im really not sure as that’s all I did.
But even though it was fixed now a few days later I checked and same sort of problem with the error page etc but only with my PC, smart phone and ipad was working fine.
Called a friend to ask him if he could check on his PC if my site had issues.
All good on his end but mine was no good.
I don’t know how he knew but he told me to press F5 on each page I had the issue and bam it worked.

So I don’t know what caused the problem but there was a problem.
I hope you understand and can advise what may have happened?

    Cheers.
    Mitch.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Mitch,

Unfortunately, I can’t seem to see anything related to your account that suggests you’re a premium user (this is why there was such a delay – you went through the free queue). Can you please send an email to Premium Support ([email protected]) so we can verify your purchase?

Based on the description, we’re not too sure what happened (we would really need to inspect the resulting error). To clarify, was the broken page in the same style as your website normally is (like this)? It sounds like there was an issue with the permalinks and this issue was stored via page caching (which explains why changing the plugin setup would resolve this issue).
