We have decided to take a look at Woo Commerce. Product look good on the product page but not with you go to the more details page. If you click on a product you will see that it does not look very good. Any help would be great!

    Hi Joseph

    Have you made progress since posting this thread? Things seem to be looking nicely formatted on my side:

    Yes, It’s a work in progress… Thanks for the encouragement! Is there a way to make the images smaller when doing a search with the search form within the template? The pictures are for some reason getting magnified. Thanks!

    Sure. Try the following under Appearance > Custom CSS to augment the way those images are handled on the results page for search:

    article.post .entry-header .entry-thumbnail img {
    margin: 0 auto;
    width: 35% !important;
    }

    Adjust 35% to a number that you feel works. If you don’t want the image to center the delete the margin: 0 auto; line.

    Thanks! It’s amazing how much the the template with Woocom is so responsive! Now I just might pull in some business from the mobile sector!

    any suggestions of background image for size so it does not break out? Thanks!

    For which area? The site overall background or the container/page background?

  8. Joseph Skinner 11 years, 6 months ago

    yes site overall. It seems that the background images I have tried stick out at the bottom on the tablet and mobile phones. Thanks

    Also Andrew can I use this to connect with the search form within the template?

    Please upload the background image you’d like to use and I’ll take a look.

    Sure, if it’s a WordPress plugin aimed at other plugins you’re running it should work fine. It’s always worth doing a quick search on the directory:

    http://wordpress.org/plugins/search.php?q=woocommerce+search

    Check pages 2 and 3 to make sure you’re not missing other options in this area. And give the reviews a quick read.

    I see what your saying… The one I was asking about is a paid service. By the way could you all set up your support system so we can respond by email? It would be more productive on mobile. Just saying…

    Thanks for the feedback. I can’t promise any immediate changes but I’ll be sure to pass that onto Greg.
