Hi, I am using Page Builder 2.2.1 with Vantage Premium 2.4.4. I saw a while back that Page Builder now has native support for Parallax image backgrounds, but I haven’t been able to get it to work and I haven’t found anything substantial in the documentation about how it’s supposed to work. I’ve seen Andrew Misplon’s “How to add parallax scrolling” tutorial, but the Page Builder looks like it now natively supports it as of v2.2.
Can someone clarify?
Just found this: Thread: Page Builder and Parallax
If I’m reading Andrew’s response correctly, Page Builder’s native Parallax support does not work in Vantage? Any timeline on when Vantage will be fixed to support it? I mean, no big deal I guess, I’ve already lived without it since the beginning, but got super excited when Page Builder 2.2 was released and I saw I could create parallax backgrounds now, only to be sad later when I couldn’t get it working.
Cheers!
Hi Richard
We’re on the second iteration of Page Builder’s native Parallax feature and are still running into troubles in certain areas. There are two main libraries we’ve test both with pros and cons. It’s looking like we’ll need to write our own to get the best of both worlds. You can read a bit more by checking out Greg’s last reply here:

However! Yes, there are issues with legacy Page Builder support built into Vantage. Unfortunately, we don’t anticipate being able to resolve this. It would be best to stick with Adam Rob’s plugin or a similar one. If I can help with that, please, let me know.
