Hello,

Ive been using siteorigin on www.studentsofnature.com

I really need some help as the home page has become suddenly un editable. in the editor you cant see live edit, or page builder. in the editor box if you highlight you can see there is white text or hidden text in there.

I have no idea whats happened and would be really happy if you could take a look.

The last thing i remember doing, was changing the ‘Site Layout’ in customiser to ‘boxed’ and then back again to ‘wide’.

Please help.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Nick

Hopefully, you’ve made progress since posting. If not, try establish a working baseline by deactivating all non-SiteOrigin plugins in one go, does the issue resolve?

    Hi Andrew,

I have found a work around.

Disabling the plugins had no noticeable effect.

On the blank broken homepage editor I found that there was still a text layout of the page. The text was all white though so you could only see it if it was highlighted.

I created a new page and copied the content from the broken homepage to the new page’s editor then clicked the page builder tab. It asks then if I want to use the current editor content in page builder so I clicked yes.

This gave me a new working version of my page. There were a few customisation missing so they needed to be recovered manually.

    Hi, I Work Here

Have you tried that same workaround but clone rather. Create a new page, click Layouts in Page Builder, click Clone: Pages, try cloning the page you want to copy.
