My Entire Site’s Format Has Suddenly Turned To Chaos.

I recently had redirected my website for a month during a crowdfund campaign. After removing the redirect my site has lost all of it’s structure and format. I’m not sure what happened. I tried to install another theme and then restore this theme, but it remained the same up reinstall. Please help!!

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Kris

Yew, not sure. The entire WordPress head (top part of the source code) is missing. Can you login to WordPress? If so, please, send us a set of login details.

    Hi, I Work Here

Would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a look? You can create the account with the following email address:

    [email protected]

Just navigate to Users > Add New in your WordPress admin. Enter siteorigin for the username and [email protected] for the email address. Make sure you’ve selected Administrator for the role and enabled the “Send Password” field so we receive the details.

Once we’re finished taking a look, you can delete this account. We’ll let you know when to do that.

    Hi, I Work Here

We’re, unfortunately, off for the “day”. We’re at GMT+2 in Cape Town.

Things to try in the mean time:

    1. Clear your caching plugin’s cache and then de-activate it. Setup incorrectly, caching plugins can cause multiple challenges.

    2. De-activate all of your plugins. Does that help? If so, re-activate them one by one until the site breaks again.

    Hi, I Work Here

Thanks, sorry, I’m right at the end of my available time here. Please, try the above. Caching plugin is first suspect. Clear then de-activate. Re-test. Then if no luck, hit the plugin test in stage 2.

If there are any pending updates at Dashboard > Updates. Run them.

All set up. There was no option to “send password” so let me know if you did not get it.

I understand you are off at this time, but for whenever this is read; I tried both options and neither one worked.

    Hi, I Work Here

Unfortunately, no password came through. You’ll see it arrive as a private message on the thread. The above is all of my quick ideas. I’d need to login and take a look to investigate a bit further. Thanks.
