Multisite blog

Hello I use Vantage free version. I already set up my multisite using the polylang plugin and made a seperate blog page. Now I want to make a blog page for my second language. Is this possible? If yes, how can I do this? If no, what would be the best option to make a multisite blog on the website?

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Nick

If you’re using Page Builder and the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle, you could perhaps use the SiteOrigin Blog Widget.

    https://polylang.pro/doc/translating-pages-posts-categories-and-tags/
The bold text and below “The operation for posts, custom post types, categories and tags is exactly the same.” might be of interest.

    Hi Andrew,

Thank you for the answer. I am new with Page Builder and the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle. Can you give a short description how I can add the link to the blog page of my second language. Plugin already installed.

As for the polylang part, already used on the website. Unfortunately I couldn’t add the link to the blog page of my second language. None the less, thanks for the extra information.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Nick

Have you perhaps tried setting a blog page from SettingsReading? Are you then able to edit your selected Blog page and choose a translated version?

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Nick

Try going to Pages and creating a page called Blog if you haven’t already.
Go to SettingsReading, and select your Blog page as the Posts page.
Go back to Pages, edit your Blog page, and locate the Polylang meta box in the right column. Click the plus icon next to the language flag you want to use. Create your new blog page for the translated language. Click save. Posts matching that language will be displayed on the second blog page.
To translate blog posts, go to Posts, edit a post, scroll down and locate the Polylang meta box in the right column, click the plus icon next to the language flag you’d like to translate into, and create your translated post.
