moving navigation buttons “next” and “previous page” from bottom to top

Hi there, I am using the Focus premium theme.
When I post a video on the bottom of that page it has buttons that lead to the next or previous video/post. It seems weird that these buttons are only all the way down, because in my case, people would have to scroll down to see these buttons. If instead they would be directly above or beneath the video on that page, it would be much more obvious there are more pages to see, and I would have more people clicking through to see the next video/post.
I have only recently upgraded to the premium theme, before that a friend of mine fixed the single.php and image.php files so that the next/previous links/buttons where right beneath my video, and above the text. So I know this can be easily done. I could ask him to do it again, but if there would be an update to the theme I would have to change the code every time after that. So is it possible to make an option so we can choose where these buttons are placed on the posts pages, that would be an awesome update. If not, could you tell me the code to change in the single.php and image.php files?

I know it has probably something to do with the in these .php files, with the ID “posts-nav”, and that that code has to be moved to the div “content-container”. But that is about all I know about the code, and I don’t know how to fix this any further…

I appreciate all the help i can get, thanks!

    Hi Naomi

Apologies for the delay. Please try my child theme here: https://siteorigin.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/focus-child-moved-single-nav.zip

Install via Appearance > Themes > Add New: Upload Theme. Let me know how that goes.
