    Hi Antwankey

    Thanks for reaching out.

    Try the following child theme:

    https://siteorigin.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/vantage-child-slider-before-menu.zip

    Download to your desktop and install from Appearance > Themes > Add New: Upload Theme > Activate.
    Activating a child theme will cause menu location settings and Appearance > Customize > Theme Design settings to reset. This is an expected result when activating a child theme in WordPress.

    Let us know how it goes.

    Hi Andrew,

    When I did this, it put the slider at the very top. I would like the layout to be (from top): 1-masthead (logo/background image), 2-slider then 3-site nav menu…. Can you help?

    This is the current code:

    <body >

    ALSO: How can I put a border around each page title on the menu bar so they visually look like individual tabs?

    To clarify: I would like the slider between the masthead (site logo/masthead background image) and the site nav menu. Is this possible?

    Thanks for explaining. Delete your current child theme and try this one instead:

    Hope that helps.
