Modifying Header text in Masthead?

Have added text to the header text section on the Vantage Premium Theme Settings.

I note there are no options to format text that goes in there…

Are there any options for say .. making text links, bolding, size changing for this part without it affecting anything else in the theme ?

Many thanks and once again big thumbs up for an awesome theme design!

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Gem

Sure, head over to Appearance > Widgets > Header and insert a Visual Editor or SiteOrigin Editor widget, depending on what you have installed.

    Hope that helps :)

    Hi Andrew!

Nice idea but it adds too much height to an already large header box sadly.
Anything in the css where i can change a few bits like what you can do with say rounded corners or extra padding or is that text fixed ?

    Hi, I Work Here

Have you perhaps tried changing the head padding from Appearance > Customizer > Theme Design > General > Header Padding? The field will accept any value except 0.

    <div class="support-text">
    				Local Plasterers in Worthing. 01903 235188 </div>

Thats the part i am trying to edit on the css!

Sorry for the confusion! I did an inspect element to find what i was trying to change and find where it was on the css to edit

    Hi, I Work Here

I’m with you. Thanks. If you insert that text at Appearance > Widgets > Header using Visual Editor or SiteOrigin Editor widget you can bold text and add links. If the padding is too much in the header you can adjust in the Customizer. Let me know how that goes.

Remember not to adjust any CSS file style.css.

You can target that using CSS but it’s a lot more effort than using a widget that’ll allow you to add links, bold etc.

    Hi Andrew

Just thought i’d update this for any others looking to do what we have tried to do here..

It was the Appearance – Widget – “TEXT” that needed to go into the header as opposed to the Visual or Site Origin editor :)

We’ve got done what we needed and thanks for putting us on the right track!

    Much appreciated.
