Hello everyone,
my website version just looks like a desktop version. I have everything enabled like responsive layout and menu but still the mobile version looks crappy. Is there any way to sort this out?
Thanks.
Mobile version not working

Hi Vb
This sounds like it could be a plugin conflict issue. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.
Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.
Hi Greg
Thanks for the reply. I deactivated all the plugins except page builder and meta slider and still the home page image, and the paragraphs are expanding all the way in mobile version.
I can’t tell what’s doing it, but something is filtering the HTML body tags from your page. The issue is that the ‘responsive’ body class isn’t showing up. In fact, the body tag doesn’t have any classes. There should be a few other classes showing up in this tag.
Have you by any chance modified your copy of Vantage? Can you try reinstalling a fresh copy? Are there any other changes you might have made that could be changing the behaviour of Vantage?
No as far as I remember I haven’t modified anything. In fact, i haven’t made any changes at all. I will try to delete the current theme and install the new one. But how do you delete the current theme as I don’t see any delete option. Also, will I be able to use the same premium order number to activate vantage premium? Thanks.
You'll need to activate one of the default WordPress themes before you delete Vantage. WordPress doesn't let you delete an active theme.
Your order number will still be there after you reinstall, and yes, you'll definitely be able to use the same number :)

This left align issue is actually the same issue with the body class tags being missing. Without those classes the proper alignment
Can you try enabling a default WordPress theme and checking if the body classes are still missing? If you do this now, I’ll be able to check for you.

Hi Vb
I can see the body tag, but there are still no body classes with the default theme. I can’t think of where else you could look. Where are you hosting this site?
Would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for me so I can log in and take a look? You can create the account with the following email address:
[email protected]
Just navigate to Users > Add New in your WordPress admin. Enter siteorigin for the username and [email protected] for the email address. Make sure you’ve selected Administrator for the role and enabled the “Send Password” field so we receive the details.
Once we’re finished taking a look, you can delete this account. I’ll let you know when to do that.

Hi VB
Apologies for the delay. Could you perhaps check those login details they aren’t working for me. I’ll jump in ASAP.
Thanks

No problem. Sure, if you can re-create an account with the same details that’ll be great. If the details are different then please send them through to:

Thanks

Sorry, nothing obvious is jumping out at me in your WordPress admin. I did notice that your hovers don’t work without a click, Appearance for example, a sub-menu should immediately appear when hovering over that. Your login screen is also not standard, did you edit that?
I’m not sure there is much more we can do from our side. If you have cPanel access you could download your error log files and we could take a look at those. If you don’t have access, those can be requested from your host. As Greg has mentioned, the issue is body classes aren’t printing to the body tag, this is a theme independent problem it would seem. In cases like this, when changing themes or de-activating all plugins doesn’t help, it’s usually a problem with the WordPress core.
Let us know if you can get a hold of the error logs and we could take a look at those. You can email those to:
[email protected]
Alright I’ll try to get those error logs. Anyway, thank you for help guys.
Thanks. Sorry there isn’t a quick fix here. WordPress isn’t behaving as it should, we’re not sure why.
