Hi,
I am using the Unwind theme for my site www.solciotyfitness.com/blog and everything is going well until I view it on mobile. The mobile, responsive, flout menu is exactly what I want BUT the full menu is also appearing as it does on the desktop site and I don’t want it to. How can I hide this? I feel like I’ve tried SO many css workarounds that just aren’t working.
Thanks!
Hi Camillequinones,
Okay so the menu you’re using, Max Mega Menu, isn’t set up to be hidden on mobile. Please follow the instructions outlined on this page.
Thanks for the info! I tried this and but now the mobile menu won’t expand when clicked:(
Correction, the site http://www.solciotyfitness.com/blog works with your instructions. It is http://www.solciotyfitness.com that has the mobile menu that will not expand now
Hi Camillequinones,
Unfortunately, solciotyfitness.com is using a different theme and its issue looks to be as a result of a major plugin conflict. We’re not really able to provide much assistance with that site but I would suggest running a plugin conflict test to see if that helps.
For reference, here’s our typical plugin conflict test:
This sounds like it could be a plugin conflict issue. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.
If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.
Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.
If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.
