On mobile view, the menu and search features suddenly stopped working. This happened a few weeks ago as well but then seemed to fix itself, now the issue is back again.

    Hi Gimmeopenroad,

This appears to be related to an issue with your caching plugin. Please try clearing your minify cache to see if that helps.

If it doesn’t help, can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

Thanks, it looks like the problem was caused by a conflict with WP Fastest Cache (And WP Fastest Cache Premium). I cleared the cache several times during testing but that didn’t fix the issue. When I disabled those two plugins and refreshed on mobile the menu and search features were fixed.

Do you recommend a good Caching plugin that works well with this theme? Thanks

    Hi Gimmeopenroad,

That’s odd. I suspect you may have a plugin that’s causing the minified JavaScript to have issues so I would try using WP Fastest Cache and just SiteOrigin plugins and see if that issue occurs.

Regardless, I recommend WP Super Cache and Autoptimize.

Thanks Alex, I did install those two plugins and they seem to be working well. I’ll keep an eye out for the issue to happen again for sure, right now I’m sort of afraid to even touch anything since it seems to be working well haha. Cheers and best!
