Mobile menu

Hi. I have a question about Vantage Premium.

1) after paying i got the code in my mailbox. There i could dowoad the .zip. But after paying i got a error. The system could not find any record of my ordernumber. Now i can’t update the theme.

2) in the mobile version of the theme the menu navigation doesn’t work well. I can’t choose the subpage because it is a one click movement. How can i change that

    Update:

I found out that if you want to navigate trough the menu (in the mobile version), you have to push the arrow.
Is there any way to do this different?
I think people won’t get it to push the arrow if they want to navigate trough the menu. The way it is now, people wont be able to see a submenu.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Wessel

    1) The order number you used for this thread (4GH…4Y) is a valid order number. It’s possible that our system not being able to verify your order number was a temporary issue. If you navigate to Settings > General and make sure you’ve entered this in “Order Code” – everything should update.

    2) I need to double check if I’ve implemented this feature, but I’m sure that if you add a link with the URL “#” to a menu, then clicking on it will load the sub menu. Or else it just assumes that when the user clicks on an item, that they want to view that item rather than view the sub menu.

Hi. Thank you for your reply.

Where can i place this “#”? What if this wont work? Can you tell me when you double checked? This feature is important to make is userfriendly on a mobile, don’t you agree?

    Btw:

De website has some problems. The Meta Slider does not slide. And the website does not work well with the menu :(
From the homepage i can see all subpages, but from another page he ain’t showing them all.

    Example 1: http://nl.tinypic.com/r/2d12te0/8
    Example 2: http://nl.tinypic.com/r/2safj1t/8

Can you help me out fixing 1) The Meta Slider, 2) The menu issue on the mobile (question above) and 3) The problem with the menu, not showing all submenus.

Thnx! I love your theme. With all options working, it would be even more great :D

    Hi, I Work Here

I just checked and the # method does work. When creating a menu, create a new with the URL #.

    2014-08-22_17-21-42

When the user clicks on this in the mobile menu, they’ll be taken to the sub section of that menu.

Thnx for the reply ones again. I feel like im starting to ask to much.

On my ipad and pc, it all works perfect.
But on my iphone i can’t even open my menu anymore.
In the adress area i see this url: blockside.nl/mgm#

    Nothing opens.

Do i need to make a new menu and do it with the # in it like tou said?

    Sorry for asking this much

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Wessel

It’s possible to remove the hash all-together once the link item has been added to the menu. The Vantage mobile menu will assign a right arrow to menu items that have sub-items. When you click on that arrow it shows the sub-items.

    Hope that makes sense.

    Hi andrew.

I see you have not read my earlier posts :(
The reason why i started this thread is because of this arrow. It’s not userfriendly.

Please take the time to read this whole thread and then help me with solving this problem

    Hi, I Work Here

The current usability/setup of the mobile menu is unfortunately not configurable. Your feedback is certainly noted. Another option might be to use something third-party, like the Jetpack Mobile Theme which has it’s own mobile menu.
