Mixed Content Message in the console of website

Resolved 7 replies developerthemetheme-vantage

I have a Mixed Content Message on all pages:

It says Mixed Content The page at”website” was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure stylesheet ‘http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jqueryui/1.8.18/themes/smoothness/jquery-ui.css?ver=4.7’. This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS.
Also it says that JQMIGRATE: Migrate is installed, version 1.4.1

I want to know how to fix this and if it has anything to do with why when in my store with woocommerce the photos that I add do not show and directs the customers to a not found page when clicked on to know more about the products displayed.

If you can help I would greatly appreciate this

Thank you

    Hi Massmgmt,

The JQMIGRATE message is a common console notice and can be safely ignored – it’s not a sign of an issue.

The mixed content message, however, is a bit of an issue. The question is, what’s adding it. Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on?

So the mixed content message wouldn’t cause such an issue. As such, try navigating to WP AdminSettingsGeneral, and ensure that each URL contains https rather than just http. Be very careful when editing the URL settings.

    Hello Alex
I want to buy the thing that will remove the site origin label from the bottom of my screen out the footer. But would like to know what it is, is it the premium and will I be able to use it on my other word press site or do I have to keep buying premium

    Thank you

I’m going to include a copy of my reply to your thread here for reference.

      Hi Massmgmt,

Yes. SiteOrign Premium includes the ability to remove the attribution (which is our text at the bottom of your page) through the No Attribution theme addon. I would recommend giving the SiteOrigin Premium page a once over (it includes a number of videos that will explain features and such) as it’ll give you a very good overview of what the premium features do. To clarify, SiteOrigin Premium isn’t just a theme upgrade, it upgrades all of our products.

To answer your new questions, you’ll be able to use SiteOrigin Premium on as many sites as your license allows. There are three different license types, single – which allows for 1 site, Business – which allows for 5 sites and developer – which allows for unlimited sites.

For more information, click the Buy Now button on the SiteOrigin Premium page and you’ll be able to see all of the available options.
