Missing sydney theme widgets after updating page builder

8 years ago · Last reply by sandhya.kshirsagar 8 years ago

Hello,

I am new to WordPress and am working on a website using Sydney theme. I just got a new update for page builder and I updated it but then the Sydney theme widgets are missing on the site. How can I fix this? I did enable the legacy widget bundle under settings->page builder. I am getting this message “This is a legacy widget. Ideally you should move to using widgets from the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle instead. These widgets will be removed in Page Builder 2.6. You will need to stay on Page Builder 2.5.x to continue using these widgets. Widgets Bundle” when I go to Appearence -> Widgets. Please help.

Thanks,
Sandhya Kshirsagar.

    Hi Sandhya,

We’re currently having issues with the widgets bundled with Sydney – I’m very sorry about this! We’re currently working on a fix. Please rollback SiteOrigin Page Builder to the last version with the WP Rollback plugin. Once installed find SiteOrigin page Builder at WP AdminPluginsInstalled Plugins and Click Rollback.

    Hi Alex,

Thanks a lot. Rollback worked, everything is back to normal now.
